We had one Board member come tonight so we cancelled this meeting after waiting until 7 p.m. Other people let us know that they couldn't make it because they had Neighborhood Council Board meetings the same evening.
We'll have one more work group meeting for training on October 18, 2011 at the Hollywood Constituent Center located at 6501 Fountain Ave., Los Angeles 90028. The meeting will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. In the meantime, we'll start preparing the report back to City Council based on the feedback we've received from the town halls and our online survey. We'll post the report here for comments as it's being written.

Purpose: To ensure Board members are knowledgeable in Neighborhood Council/City policies and procedures and to reduce Board member liability when serving their communities in the Council system.
